Private Practise Workshop 0n-line with Kim Hamilton

Event Details

  • Date: June 5, 2021 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Most initial therapy training focusses, quite rightly, on therapeutic skills and knowledge. Little is covered about running a business. If you decide you want to go into private practice, then it is just that … a business. Many therapists find this very challenging new territory that they are ill prepared for.

Often therapists set up their private practise focussing on the needs of the client. Whilst this is important as the business is personal and therapeutic in nature, the therapists need to make a living can be lost.

In this workshop Kim will talk you through some useful checklists and considerations and provide some guidance for those seeking to set up their private practise for the first time This will also be useful for therapists who want to enhance their current practise to attract more business and/or clarify work/non work boundaries.

Kim has a background in management training and consultancy and has run her own very successful private practise for over 15 years.
